Reach out

If you are having a challenging time, it's OK to seek help and support - many people do - including international students. It will not affect your enrolment or your visa.

There are several services and resources available (including resources in a number of different languages) that have a tailored approach to supporting international students.

For more information on support services and mental wellbeing, check out this blog post.

Visit your Doctor/ GP

You doctor can help you with health issues as well as any concerns about your mental wellbeing. They can help you to create a mental health plan with you that may or may not include medication. Click here for more information about Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Nutrition and exercise

Exercise and the types of food you eat (and how nutritious they are) can play an important role in keeping yourself healthy and grounded during stressful times. Check out this blog post for some tips on healthy eating at home.
