No matter where you are on your student journey – figuring out what to study, preparing for an English test or wanting to upskill with a short course – we’ve got some great tools and resources for you.

1. Identify your ideal career

Not sure what your future career could be? Use the Career Explorer to find out!  You can search industries, occupations and study options to find a career that's right for you and what you can do to get there.

2. Learn from leading academics

The Study Australia Masterclass library brings together some of Australia’s most renowned academics as they shine a light on the global issues defining our future.

Watch our free masterclass series to learn about topics such as managing tourism for sustainability, the expansion of the universe, artificial intelligence in health care and so much more.

3. Test your English language skills

If you’re preparing to meet English language requirements, visit our page on language testing organisations to choose the test that’s right for you. Once you’ve decided which test you’ll take, head directly to that provider’s website. You’ll find official preparation materials, including practice tests, to help you build confidence and get exam-ready.

4. Find a course

Did you know that Study Australia website houses the world’s most comprehensive course search tool?

The Course Search tool allows you to search:

  • Australia’s education institutions, including schools, English language (ELICOS), vocational (VET) and higher education (university) providers
  • the full range of courses available and their start dates, and
  • all available scholarships.

You can shortlist and compare your favourites, and even send an enquiry directly to a listed institution today.

5. Gain industry experience

The Study Australia Industry Experience Program (SAIEP) can help you to learn new skills, build your student and business networks and boost your employability. Plus, it’s free to join for current international students!

The SAIEP is a two-week virtual program that connects you directly with Australian and global employers. You will have the opportunity to work in small, multi-disciplinary teams on real-world industry projects.

The teams are made up of international and domestic students and are a great way to make friends from Australia and all over the world.
