When nature becomes your classroom

My name is Amy, and I’m from China. I decided to study land conservation in Australia because of the beautiful natural environment here, that I always wanted to explore.

Studying in Tasmania has provided me with plenty of opportunities to gain practical skills ‘in the field’, and learn from the nature and wildlife of Tasmania

I've also been greatly supported by my classmates, tutors, colleagues, conservation groups and local communities. Many of these people have now become my close friends.

Aussie life

Australia is a welcoming country with cultural diversity where you meet and study with people from all over the world. There's plenty to explore across this land too, including culture, history, heritage, nature and art.

After graduation

After I graduated, I got a job here in a government program protecting Australia's unique landscapes and tackling global environmental challenges.

I hope you can find what you're interested in and enjoy your time here too!
