What is changing from 5 October 2026

The BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) will no longer be available for enrolment by new international students from 5 October 2026. If you have already started the course before 5 October 2026, you can continue studying.

This change supports Australia’s ongoing work to maintain high-quality education and strong learning outcomes for international students.

What this means for you

What you need to do depends on your situation.

If you have already started the course

You can continue studying the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) and complete the course.

If you have a CoE but have not started the course

If you have not started the course before 5 October 2026, you will not be able to start it. Your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), for this course will be cancelled on 5 October 2026. You should contact your education provider as soon as possible.

If the change results in a provider default, your education provider must act within 14 days by either:

  • offering you a suitable alternative course, which you accept in writing
  • refunding your unspent tuition fees.

If your provider does not meet these obligations, the Tuition Protection Service may be able to help you.

If your study package includes this course

If the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) is part of a package of courses but you have not started it, you may be able to continue with other courses in your package.

You should contact your provider to understand how this change affects your study plan. Your provider should discuss your options with you. This may include transferring to another course or receiving a refund of unspent tuition fees.

If you are thinking about applying

You should consider other suitable courses that meet your study goals and Student visa requirements.

Understanding visa implications

If you change your course or study plan, check whether the change may affect your Student visa. For information about your visa requirements, visit the Department of Home Affairs. If you need advice about your individual circumstances, contact a registered migration agent.
